Building brand foundations

 

Scott Brownrigg is one of the top 100 architecture and interior practices in the world. Respected globally for their bold and sustainable designs, they have been innovating and honing their craft for over a century.

I was brought into Scott Brownrigg to provide a comprehensive brand review and build their brand foundations. As part of the brand audit, I dissected all areas of their business and got to know their culture through various interviews with key stakeholders, media, and current and prospective clients.

One of the key areas for development, was Scott Brownrigg’s digital presence, the website, and social media.

Working as part of the multidisciplinary project team, we went through a rigorous tender process to ensure the appointed agency would not only understand the complexity of the industry but would also introduce new ideas and create a successful long-term partnership.  

I wrote the brief and the tender documents, collated numerous suitable companies and interviewed them. We also conducted visits to ensure we were considering the most suitable companies. I knew Scott Brownrigg’s brand and recognised that they would want to select someone innovative and untraditional; someone that knew the industry but also had a diverse range of clients themselves and would offer a new dimension.

Uniform Brand Design was appointed as they had completed a broad range of projects and had many areas of technical expertise such as VR that would complement Scott Brownrigg and their brand direction.
